Taking inspiration from classic 80s horror movies, I created this poster to promote my Halloween all-vinyl DJ set (accompanied by Klay Thunderwood on live percussion) at “French-Canadian disco bistro” Le Mont Royal in Washington, DC.

Le Mont Royal staff—Julian Garcia, Adam Miller, Tucker Gray, and Pete Savich—and owner Chas Jefferson are named in the ‘film credits’ at the bottom of the poster. For added vérité, I digitally distressed the poster and added the vintage ‘folds’ of a cinema one-sheet.

In keeping with the 80s trope, I also created a VHS rental clamshell case and a worn label version on a VHS cassette.
